Who We Are
Magicats, Inc., a feline rescue “no kill” organization, serves cats and kittens in South Central Idaho. Founded in 2010 as a private 501(c)(3) private non-profit all-volunteer group, we believe that positive permanent changes in animal welfare can best occur when rescue groups educate, cooperate, communicate, and coordinate. Annually, about 200 cats and kittens pass through our network of volunteer foster homes while awaiting permanent adoptive homes. Also, on a case-by-case basis as resources permit, we provide limited trap-neuter-return (TNR) assistance. Three local veterinary practices provide  medical care, including wellness evaluation, full annual immunizations, testing for FIV/FELV, spay/neuter surgery, and provide medical direction as appropriate. Carefully screened adoptions occur through our website, petfinder.com, adoptapet.com, and our Facebook pages. Twin Falls PetSmart is our primary on site adoption venue. We receive no government support. All funding comes from adoption fees, private donations, occasional small grants and fund raisers, and the generosity of donors, large and small. We welcome loving, responsible foster families and individuals willing to work with cats in crisis or who are interested in financially sponsoring specific animals, or assist with donations or fundraising activities to ensure that our Magicats get great forever homes.

Lydia
Sometimes a girl just can't catch a break! First, on New Year's Day, my first original family moved away and left us behind. Magicats stepped in and took care of us.  I was just getting over that shock, and then I got adopted by a family with a year old baby and some dogs who had No Idea How To Treat A Cat. Let me tell you, it was NOT FUN!

Sherlock
Sherlock is a beautiful Bombay X boy who was minding his own business in company with his best bud, Watson, making what he thought was a decent living in an RV park when some well-meaning rescuers decided he needed a different kind of life. He found himself in a Magicats foster home!

JuJu
Hello World! I'm Princess JuJu - my real name is Juliette, but I prefer my royal name! I'm a Color Point Tabby lady in search of a one-pet-only Forever Castle suitable for a Princess. I've been living in a home with other lady cats, and frankly,

Maggie May
My name is Maggie May, and I’m eight years old, in my prime and needing a new Forever Home.  When I was just two, I was lost or dumped and almost froze to death. I was rescued by a wonderful older lady who took me to the vet, and saved my life. I became her Forever Friend!
